Business and Role Design
Roles are more complex and dynamic than ever before, making role clarity and role alignment increasingly important in organisational life.
Conflicts, tensions and poor performance often devolve to lack of role clarity. What on the surface looks like interpersonal clashes are most often the result of role confusion.
People have unexamined assumptions about their role. Often others do not share these assumptions. Trouble arises as a consequence.
We use Organisational Role Analysis (ORA) as a method to examine and correct role ambiguity and confusion. It is engaging, creative and revealing. In our experience it is the most effective method for clarifying and designing organisations roles.
The method can be applied at an individual, team and organisation levels.
